La Madrugada 2023 Para Amigos: 50% Petit Verdot, 20% Malbec, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc
Place of origin: Chacayes, in upper Uco Valley, Mendoza
Altitude: 1057 m above sea level
Soil: Ancient alluvial foundation covered by younger alluvial deposits
Harvest: Manual harvest on 6 March 2023
Aging: Aged for 18 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels
Quantity: A limited blend of 300 bottles
Serving: Thanks to its combination of higher acidity, tannin and alcohol, the wine has a longer cellar ageing potential and should age very well over more than 10 years; serve at 16°C, in an elegant and tulip-shaped glass, when young better aerate in a decanter two hours before serving.
